The Hydrographic Society of America (THSOA) Southeast Chapter serves as the focal point for hydrographic activities in the Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, Oklahoma and South Carolina.
The Board would like to invite members and non-members to attend our monthly meetings to learn more about the organization, meet other professionals, and gain further knowledge on the subject of hydrography. With technical presentations given at most monthly meetings, one can learn more about the industry, equipment and application updates, as well as news in the industry.

Southeast chapter scholarship info
The Southeast Chapter of THSOA scholarships are available to full-time students seeking a 2-year, 4-year, or graduate degree in Hydrographic Surveying, Ocean Mapping, Geomatics, Ocean Sciences, Geographic Information System (GIS), Ocean Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or other related field.
Applicants be a current resident of Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, Oklahoma, or South Carolina or plan on attending a college in those states.
At least four scholarships will be awarded this year. The scholarship deadline for the 2021 - 2022 academic year school is December 15, 2021. For more information or to request an updated scholarship application, please email:
